This one-of-a-kind labradorite teardrop pendant flashes vivid gold on both sides. A band of brilliant aqua blue bisects the teardrop. When the gemstone catches the light, it shimmers with iridescent color! This necklace was difficult to photograph. In the light, it really shines and glows!

Wire wrapped above the teardrop is a 6mm faceted rondell of bright aqua apatite. Above and below the apatite gem are small vermeil (gold-plated sterling silver) patterned beads. Both sides of the pendant are shown in the photographs.

The labradorite teardrop is relatively petite, measuring 22mm x 15mm x 5mm (7/8" x 5/8" x 3/16"). The pendant, including the apatite gem and vermeil beads, dangles 38mm (1 1/2") from a 16" vermeil chain that fastens with a vermeil lobster claw clasp. This necklace is unusual and eye-catching!

Labradorite seems almost magical. When it catches the light, it can shift from subtle silvery gray or gray green to iridescent brilliance. The bright color flashes make it fascinating to watch. Please remember that every labradorite gem flashes its colors as it reflects light, so it can look very different at different angles and in different lighting conditions. In low light, it may appear mostly gray.
