Do you want to add a tropical feel to your room or summer porch? Maybe you have a beach bungalow. If so, then this is the pillow cover for you. The top of this pillow is made completely by hand. It is considered a type of quilting, even though there is not any actual quilting on the pillow. It is a very labor-intensive pattern and the pillow cover is quite heavy because each white square is four layers thick. I took this traditional pattern and gave it a modern twist using aqua and lime green batiks that reminded me of summers on the beach. The fabrics are high quality cotton. It is very easy to remove the pillow because of the overlapping back which can be seen in the last photo. I used a beautiful blue/green batik cotton print to back this cover.
I pre-washed each of the fabrics that were used, but I would only hand-wash this cover in cold water and dry flat.
Here is what some of my customers are saying about my pillows:
"More beautiful than I imagined and perfect on my new porch. Thanks for the custom listing and for such amazing and quick service."
"I saw a similar item in a boutique while I was visiting Montana a few months back but couldn't bring myself to buy it because it was so expensive. I'd been on the hunt for the affordable "equivalent" and finally found it in this pillow cover. Just got it in the mail today and love it! It's even better than what I saw in Montana and looks great in my living room."
"Love, love love!! Beautifully crafted, this makes me so happy!"
"This is my favorite etsy purchase ever! Wonderful work, nicely packaged...PERFECT!"
"This shipped rather quickly and it's wonderfully done. You can tell the care that went into creating it."

To my international customers, please understand that my pillow covers are heavy (at least 8 ounces), due to multi-layers of fabrics. I do not make any money from shipping charges. You pay what it costs to mail. Thanks for your understanding.
I create in a smoke-free home.
