Framed original papercutting, Edition 1/1
This is an original design,single-edition, hand-cut papercutting of a greyhound resting on his pillow, looking up at his person across the room. He doesn't care about speed at the track or races he may have won, he cares about his family and his life as a beloved and pampered house pet.. I designed this papercutting from photos I took of a perfectly spoiled retired racing grey, and I cut it the piece by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted and framed to 16"x20". The frame is dull silver/platinum colored metal, the double mat is blue and dark purple-grey, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a hand-painted original watercolor painting in blues, turquoise, tan, brown, and gray. The watermark is on the photoss only, not on the actual piece.
