Modern Carved Porcelain Owl Vase Sculpture

This was thrown on the wheel and then altered. It was then painted with black slip (colored liquid clay) and then carved so the white porcelain beneath can be shown and there is a lot of texture in the piece. Glazed with a thin layer on clear on the inside and outside, just a little bit of orange on the inside rim of the eyes. Carved on the bottom as well with my signature "s" and snowflake. Could be used for candles, flowers, plants..
