This piece won the Kansas Etsy Team June/July Challenge: Amber Waves of Grain! I love Amber, it's such a beautiful gemstone, so organic. When I think of all the history that is held within such a small specimen, it's mind boggling, it's like a little time capsule. I used Amber to represent the stunning golden color of the Kansas plains during wheat harvest. The three strands of silver wire represent the waves of grain.
