Bronze Hedgehog necklace - woodland creature

I sculpted this little 3 dimensional hedgehog entirely by hand, using fast fire bronze clay, which is bronze that comes in a clay form. After it's formed I fire it in a kiln at 1575 degrees for 3 hours and the clay binder burns off, the metal particle fuse and out comes a solid bronze hedgehog. It's approximately 5/8" from nose to tail (17mm). and comes on a 16" gunmetal finish solid copper flat cable chain (nickel free). If you'd prefer a different length chain just note it at checkout and I'll change it, no extra charge.

Please note that each piece is made entirely by hand and may vary slightly from the photo. Bronze oxidizes quite quickly and I've chosen to leave it unsealed, so you can allow the piece to change naturally over time, or simply remove the deeper color with a soft jewelry polishing cloth from time to time.

This comes in a recycled gift box tied with a raffia ribbon, ready for giving.
