This piece was hand forged from a single piece of metal which started out life as a short oblong ingot created by myself by melting down scrap silver. I drew the metal out till it was the length of my elbow to my palm and then persuaded it using many hammer blows (15000-20000 times) into its final organic meandering form. I have chosen as I often do with my forged pieces to leave the dome of the pendant displaying the many facets created from the individual strikes of the hammer - each one representing a unite of my own energy. I have accentuated the texture by oxidising for contrast.
The piece carries the Edinburgh assay mark as well as my own maker's mark of CR in two ovals. It weighs 33.5 grams and is supplied on its own without the black choker. It would also work well on a silver collarett or heavy snake type chain.
All my pieces are sent special delivery with a tracking code. Please allow 5 working days for me to get in the post to you.
