If you need a hoop size that is not listed please contact me! I can make a hoop any size you'd like- although I don't find many people that truly need a hoop bigger than 39". Larger hoop sizes are good for learning- but most people progress quickly and need to downsize within the first 3 or 4 weeks. For this reason I don't give the option for a hoop larger than 39". The sizes listed are mainly for reference. When ordering you can specify a size or just say small, med, or large and you will receive a hoop within that range
****Unless otherwise stated in your note to seller at the time of purchase, you will receive a hoop that is 38" in diameter and made with 3/4" 100psi tubing. This is a good intermediate size hoop that will allow you to grow into your hoop and not out of it.
HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF:
Stand up straight and drop a measuring tape from your belly button to the floor. Take that measurement and add two to three inches. This is a good rule of thumb for your first hoop. :) The bigger the hoop, the slower the rotation. This means that you'll have more time and more space to get in and out of the hoop. A slower rotation also means your workout can have a nice smooth pace. The more you advance, the smaller and lighter your hoop can get.
-Standard - good for beginners/intermediate, won't leave brusing, slow-somewhat fast hooping. Great for hand movements, off body, and on the body movements. 3/4" 100psi
-Extra Light - fast, best for advanced hoopers or people that prefer faster hooping, also great for children. Great for on and off the body movements and perfect for learning hand movements. 1/2" 125psi
The final weight of the hoop will depend on the amount of tape on the hoop. When considering what weight is right for you, it is important to consider what your primary goals are with the hoop. Every individual is different and the hoop weight should be comfortable for you. Heavy hoops are great for beginners and for people that want a good workout and would like to learn a few basic off the body movements and some basic hand skills..(Due to the weight, the rotation is slower.) Light hoops are better for intermediate to advanced hoopers as well as children.
