Lampwork Glass Focal Bead, Cranberry Splash

Bands of vivid color are wrapped around the ivory base of this lampwork glass lentil shaped focal bead. It's hard to capture all the wonderful colors seen in person, which include berry red, amethyst, blue, purple and green. The magnificent colors come from heavily laden silvered glass.

PLEASE NOTE: My lampwork beads are lovingly made by me in my studio in NY. I am a proud member of Self Representing Artists (SRA # A13). I generally use 3/32" mandrels unless otherwise noted. The beads go directly from flame into my digitally controlled kiln where they are annealed overnight for strength and longevity. The holes are thoroughly cleaned of bead release before being sent on their merry way.
