2012 Mountain Calendar (Sea Green)

While traveling on many buses in Thailand and Laos, I saw many beautiful mountain forms. As we drove along side them, I drew the top edge of each range, stacking one on top of the other. The result became a new vista which is how I created this poster.

Each mountain was hand traced in Illustrator from my own sketches. The font Rockwell was chosen for it's slab serifs which portray the grounded strength of a mountain. Like people mountain climbing, the month and numbers walk along the top of each ridge. The weeks are separated with an extra space. This pattern is also available in red sunset and blue mist.

Poster size: 16" x 24" (unframed)
Printed area: 14.5" x 22.5"
Border: There is a 3/4" white border and a light gray rule that frames the edge of the printed area.
Paper: It is printed on archival heavyweight matte paper on a high quality inkjet printer.
