This charming "feature" matchbook Print shows a dining couple on the cover for a Bar and Grill called Archie's in the 1930s. It was located in Saratoga Springs New York. The bartender on the printed match sticks is creating a drink in his shaker - and he may even be Archie. The design of the matchbook was in black and metallic silver, but the print shows it in black and white. I have added subtle colors in the background to highlight the design on the matchbook.
Most people keep matchbooks in bowls or notebooks. I put mine on the wall so that they can be fully appreciated - since all sides are shown at once. This is the design I made for this matchbook, and prints are available so that other people can enjoy it too. The prints have 11"x14" white mats - ready to be put into standard frames. (The words Matchbook Memories do not appear on the print)
