~~$265 is the starting price & is meant for 1-4 countries with the memory illustrations.
If you'd like a more involved map that requires many countries with their illustrations & any additional drawings, it can be between $300-325. If you request it be done sooner than the allotted 4-6 weeks, it could result in a rush charge (from $20-40) depending on the urgency of the request.~~
~Each map poster displayed is just a sample, & have already been created customers (if you would not like your custom map to serve as an example on my shop, please let me know & I will be sure not to place it here!)

Here's the low-down on how to start your process of having your own vacation map poster:
--Simply email me the 2 following items:
1. Location of your vacation
2. The list of memories/moments* from your vacation you wish to be illustrated.
3. Any photos you have to help me get an idea of your experiences, "memories", would be helpful!
*Memories you provide will be illustrated (similar to what you see in the samples). They can be anything from Historical Landmarks, Favorite places, Souvenirs illustrating certain events or memories, Road signs illustrating important parts of your journey, People you visited, Signs of places you visited (broadway shows, sporting events, restaurants, shops, etc.), Inside jokes, Travel gear (camera, tickets, passport, transportation, luggage, etc.), the list is endless. This is something made special for you & is personal to your trip, so take the time to think & reflect on what stood out most to you. If you need help in any way, I'm an email away!

--You can request 5-10 memories for your poster. All of my samples have 7-8 displayed, so you can get an idea how quickly the map fills up. Sometimes, 10 is too much, but some vacations are just too memorable & you need to show off as much as possible! So we will work together to make it work however you wish.
Once you've provided the appropriate information, I will draw a pencil sketch of your map & illustrations (your "memories") & email you a proof. The proof will not be colored in, as that takes the majority of the time. Once you've approved the pencil sketch & like everything you see, I will proceed to finish your Vacation Map. Your Vacation Map will look somewhat similar to the samples I've provided, but will definitely carry a unique style special to your trip!

Here's the expected timeline from placed order to completion:
1. Once order is received, it will take 2-3 weeks to draw up a sketch & send a proof to you.
2. Once the proof looks good to you, & any changes have been made, it will take 2-3 weeks to complete your Vacation Map.
3. Once I've completed your map, I will ship the print out it to you, along with a postcard version of your map**. Depending on your location will depend on when you receive it.
This makes it roughly 4-6 weeks to complete & be sent to you.
