This is a smaller version of my best selling travel journals.

Covers are made from reclaimed bookboard covered with a vintage National Geographic map of Jamaica and the surrounding region/waters. The endpapers of this journal are vintage atlas index pages--why not recycle all parts of the atlas? Bound with waxed linen thread using a double needle coptic binding leaving a lovely chain stitch on the spine. This allows the book to lie perfectly flat when open. The inside is filled with 140 pages (counting both sides) of super smooth creamy white paper, off-cuts from another project. This journal closes with a green satin ribbon.

This journal measures 9 x 15 cm (3.5 x 5 .75”).

If you are interested in a travel journal with a map of another country (such as shown in the last photo) that you don’t see in my shop, please convo me and I can likely do a custom order for you.
