A little bit About Hill Tribe Silver:
There is something special about silver beads made by the Karen Hill Tribe people and I have been buying them now for many, many years. Mostly, I like the idea that I help support a way of life, but more importantly I like that my purchases provide the Karen families with a much needed income. The Karen take their inspiration from nature and each piece is unique and handcrafted. The slight imperfections provide a wonderful charm only found in handmade items. Silver used by the Karen is more pure (95-99%) than sterling silver (92.5%). The higher the silver content, of course, the softer and easier it is to work with. Karen silver will retain its shine much longer and won’t need to be polished as often as sterling silver.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy!
