As I was looking for books at my local library about how to make different kinds of beaded jewelry, I ran across a book on how to make little beaded animals! I just had to try it! They turned out great! The Orca Whale (Killer Whale) looked so cute, I had to try and make him! He is just a little over 3 inches long. He is made out of size 8 glass beads and brass colored-copper wire. Even though he was very intricately made, if he gets bent or squished, it doesn't matter, he can be formed back into his original shape. His fins are moveable as well! He can be strung on a ribbon or cord and made into a necklace, a keychain, or leave him just as he is so that he can brighten your day wherever you choose to put him!
Not intended for small children as he is so cute, little ones would just want to eat him up!
