As I said, this yarn is approximately DK/worsted weight; I am not an even spinner so while not flat-out slubby, some parts are thicker than others (the beauty of handspun is that it's not always even like commercial yarn, making it more unique). To be honest, it has been so long since I've spun this yarn, I can't remember if it's Superwash or not (Superwash is not feltable). Each skein is approximately 100 yards (as of writing this I have two skeins available). With 100 yards you could make a hat, a cowl, or a pair of wristwarmers; both skeins together would make a hat and cowl set or a scarf; or incorporate this handspun in with a larger project made from commercially spun yarn of the same weight.
This yarn was spun in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once spun it is kept in a bin which cats and dogs do not have access to.
