Measurements: 61 x 72
Large lap quilt or twin coverlet.
You can make this pattern larger by making more finished blocks. This quilt would also be a perfect scrap quilt, you just need a bunch of 2.5" strips.
Fabric requirements:
1 jelly roll OR 16 fat quarters
1 yard white for large squares
3/4 yards for small 5 patch squares
3.75 yards for back
5/8 yard for binding
This quilt is simple. If you use a jelly roll, the cutting is a lot quicker and simpler. It goes together pretty quickly. For your 5 patch squares, you can use something light, or a dark color, so that is a fun variable. The quilts come out gorgeous.
