This baby has peach skin and awake blue eyes. The red/brown "blanket" is decorated with a large teal appliqued bird. There are green leaves and branches, embroidered and appliqued throughout. The baby is wearing a soft dark teal wool/angora blend hat. Body embroidery is done with wool crewel thread. The face is hand-embroidered with cotton embroidery floss and perle cotton. The baby is 12" long and just a little smaller then a real swaddled new baby.
