A duck's skull and preserved feet are displayed behind glass against a grey background in this gold leaf framed, hand built** wooden shadow box. The box measures 9" x 11 " x 2 " and comes ready to hang. Note: Since this box was built with a vintage frame and glass, please expect a few minor imperfections which, I think, only add to the vintage character of the display. Also, as with everything I sell, no animal was killed for the purpose of creating this item.
** I carefully construct each of my wooden shadowboxes using the woodcutting power tools in my workshop. I then match each box and its specimen with its own unique, often vintage, frame. Once assembled, I apply an appropriate finish (paint, lacquer, varnish, gold leaf, etc.) to create the finished product.
