Old Glory - Framed Vintage Cigar Box American Flags

Framed c. 1912 American Flag cigar box liners. These beautiful patriotic printed pieces of flannel once lined the insides of cigar boxes in the early 1900’s. These two framed American flags boast 48 stars which indicates that it was made after Arizona was admitted as the 48th state in 1912. Each flag is in very good vintage condition with vibrant colors and no stains. On both flags some of the elements in the print are slightly off register. There is some red color run from original print process on the flag with the green background. Top corner of the flag on the blue background is slightly faded. These two lovely flags have been framed in a new glass float frame. The flags are dry mounted (using no glue or tape) and framed under glass in a 15” x 12” crisp white painted frame. This frame can be wall mounted. Celebrate Old Glory and proudly display these lovely antique cigar box flags in your home! Shipping insurance is suggested.
