Morning Revelations - mixed media encaustic

From my Morning Revelation Series, a mixed media artwork: painting combined with digital painting, mounted on a 5"x5" wood panel and painted on top with pigmented encaustic (beeswax) and finished with rich brown stain.

The feel, the surface and color of the artwork is rich, the surface is slightly textured and it's translucency give the artworks a wonderful depth.
