The bottom portion is fully glazed inside and out, and the top portion (wherein you put the soil and plant) is only glazed around the top, leaving the bottom clear and able to soak up water.
This pot is glazed with non-toxic glaze, and can be cleaned with warm soapy water.

I pour these African Violet pots from a mold which unfortunately is not marked with the date. Current turnaround on custom orders is 3-4 weeks, to allow for multiple firings in my kiln.
