A simple round golden locket opens to reveal a hand embroidered initial...it could be yours...it could be someone you love. Place a personal photo inside the locket (or I can do it for you) to keep your memories close to your heart. This is a wonderful wedding party gift, birthday or new mother's gift.
I hand embroider the initial in *black silk thread onto antique linen. The font style is "Pabst Old Style" from the 1916 book "Lettering" by Thomas Wood Stevens--see the last picture for more letters. The golden brass locket is 1 1/2" and it hangs from a 26" brass figaro chain with a toggle closure. There is protective clear acetate inside the locket so that the embroidery and your photo are protected. The locket will develop a lovely patina over time, or you can keep it bright with the enclosed polishing cloth.

If you want to add a photo yourself, it should be sized to fit inside a 3/4" (2 cm) circle.
