Jeweled Garden Party Vintage Purse Embellished with Vintage Jewelry Pieces

This OOAK work feaures a black vintage purse that has been embellished with pretty vintage jewelry pieces. The scene is reminiscent of a glistening garden party with bejeweled fluffy clouds going across the sky toward a bright yellow sun; a bird flying high in the sky; a rhinestone butterfly flitting above the flowers; birds sitting above their nest of blue eggs; and, of course, many beautiful glittering flowers. The repurposed jewelry pieces found at estate sales, flea markets, antique shops, etc. have been glued on to the faux leather purse and include pieces made of rhinestones, plastic, and metal. There are imperfections as to be expected in the jewelry bits consistent with the age of the pieces--wearing, slight tarnishing, scratches, etc.--but great care has been taken to ensure beautiful results. The purse has a satin red interior that is in good shape aside from a quarter-sized stain (in bottom left of picture). The frame is silver tone with a chain handle. The clasp works well. It measures approximately 9" x 5".
