This is a listing to purchase a commission for a painting just like this one. Please allow one week for me to complete the painting. This exact painting was used in the set of a brand new tv show by CBC called 'Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays'. It will start to air in the fall of 2011. You may also see two smaller square versions of this painting their set but this one was my favorite :)
The colors used in this abstract seascape are blues, deep slate charcoal greys and white. I will use a palette knife for interesting impasto (texture) to create this painting.
It measures a 24" by 36" on one stretched canvas. (I could create a larger version of this painting to measure 36x48 for $425, please contact me if you want me to make a custom listing for you.).
The sides are painted black, no frame is required for a beautiful contemporary look. The painting is varnished creating a museum quality look and comes ready to hang. It is signed and numbered in the back.
