Condition: The chairs are in good, very solid condition for their age, with a some cosmetic wear. There are some white paint flecks and scratches on the gold metal, some scratches and scuffs on the wood (although the varnished finish still looks nice) and a little darkening of the faux reed along the corners of the seats and backs. Plastic glides (feet) are all in place and in good condition. I have cleaned the chairs, but have not attempted to remove the paint or clean with anything stronger than a natural detergent and water. The chairs do have a moderate musty smell. This should "air out", but it could take some time or additional cleaning/restoration, and they are being sold as is.
I also have a matching folding rocker available in a separate auction. If the rocker is purchased at the same time by the same buyer, I will discount the total price of both listings (excluding shipping) by 10%. Chairs will ship via Fedex ground. Apologies, but due to the size of the chair, international shipping and shipping to APO addresses is not available for this chair, and there will be an additional charge to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. (Please inquire before purchase, as shipping oversized parcels to these locations can be costly). Also, note that shipping cannot be combined with items other than the matching rocker.
