The perfect size to take everywhere you go, this blanket isn't too big to get in the way when used in the car seat or stroller. Large enough to cover a newborn and snuggly enough to quickly become a favorite lovey. As your child grows up, this can be used in imaginary play as a blanket for a favorite stuffed animal. These also make wonderful wall-hangings in a nursery or child's bedroom.
Measures 24" x 19" (61 cm x 48 cm). I've machine quilted this baby blanket, and added a little bit of hand quilting in pink to add to the argyle look. Double top-stitched for added durability and hand-bound using mitered corners for a nice clean look. The blanket is backed with unbleached organic cotton flannel in a woven herringbone pattern - absolutely gorgeous to look at and feel! This would make a wonderful unique baby shower gift for that special new mom.
All materials have been prewashed in hypo-allergenic detergent to avoid shrinkage or bleeding of colors. For future care, simply machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. Warm iron if needed. As with all quilts, this will become even more beautiful with use.
