This is a small, one of a kind, mixed media painting depicting an image of a face on a watercolor and charcoal background. The face was hand transferred in artist ink onto shrink plastic and then sewn onto heavy watercolor paper. Colors in this image include brown umber and yellow ochre.
The entire piece was 'fixed' to ensure it won't smudge.

I used my vintage Underwood typewriter to type the words "shoosh" onto the picture. Interpret how you will.

It is one of a kind, titled, signed and dated on the back.

This image is ACEO size; 2.5" x 3.5"

I have done my best to accurately represent the true colors of this painting in the pictures. The watermark on the full size view is not present in the actual piece.

Though artist quality watercolors are permanent, proper care of this work of art must be observed. A watercolor should not be moistened or the colors will run.

This series of work is inspired by remembered images of sitting in the school auditorium, watching old films, waiting for particles to cross the projection and dance erratically. These are my vignettes dedicated to those moments.
