This was my fanciful notion of the life of a typical coffee cup in New York City. I made this painting to hang for the 2008 opening of the gimme! espresso shop on Mott Street in Manhattan. I wanted to evoke a New York City apartment so there are some ubiquitous water towers outside the window.
