I added bold stitches of blue wool yarn for a nice detail. The 'eyes' are buttons saved from damaged clothing (one side of the fish has a pearlescent button, the other has a plastic shirt button which I dyed pale blue)
Stuffed inside with wool scraps for a firm but squidgy feel.
This fish can lie flat, stand up against something or you could add a thread to hang it by stitching through the 'mouth'.
Please note that this fish is ornamental and not suitable for use as a toy due to small parts. If you have a cat or dog that likes to chew on this kind of thing, I'd recommend keeping it on a high shelf out of the way!
