Whenever I feel lost with my thoughts in clay i return to my roots and begin where I first fell in love with the medium, with pinch pots. Named after the natural water wells called Cenotes that played an important role in the lives of the Mayan Indians, each small pot is made out of a connection between myself and the clay, built entirely by hand from a gorgeous iron rich stoneware clay. This particular pot has been covered in a stunning natural reef green glaze that runs thin in some areas, thicker in others, lending a burnt appearance to raised edges that brings the texture of the pot to life. It is large enough to hold an air plant but I prefer to display them on their own. Due to the individual process for these pots, each one is unique and one of a kind. You will receive the vase in the image. Your vase will arrive beautifully packaged in a natural gift box tied with twine, ready for yourself or a loved one.
Measures approx. 2" tall x 2 1/4" at its widest point
