Lately I’ve been bitten by the idea of putting different things on top of these plain boxes, and this is one of my bird experiments.
This is a set of both boxes.
These were glazed with a food-safe glaze and would be safe to store food in, could you find food small enough. (Oh, come on! That was funny!)

I poured these using two vintage molds that my grandmother purchased new; the pill boxes are a Duncan mold from 1960 and the birds are a Duncan mold from 1956. If you are interested in a set in a different color than shown please feel free to contact me for a custom order. Custom orders need a turnaround of 3-4 weeks to allow time for multiple firings.
