The fragrance is emblematic of the warm, musky scent of the bee hive. As a holistic bee keeper I've come to love this particular aroma and thought it would be the perfect theme for a perfume devoted to the bee. Since not everyone is a lover of this most distinct "hive smell" I used the theme as a launch point for the perfume.The scent of the hive is a combination of warm, sweet, musky notes with threads of beeswax, honey and with an earthy, vegetal undertone.
In the same tradition of the gourmet artisan culinary arts, I make these completely natural perfumes by hand using the highest quality raw materials from nature. Made completely from nature with pure essential oils, c02 extracts and absolutes (Vanilla, Resins, Wood, Spice, Mimosa, Sweet Clover Absolute and Beeswax Absolute) with many of my own unique accords in a base of infused honey comb and organic golden jojoba oil.
This sample is made to test on the skin, experience the natural aroma and then make an informed decision as to which larger size to purchase.
Each sample is poured by hand into a pink pot with my iconic honeybee wax seal. The size of this sample is contained in a pink pot measuring 1 inch wide x 3/4 inch high. There is at least 0.5 grams of solid perfume in the container, sometimes more. Please see picture at right which indicates how much is in the pot. This sample provides ample amounts for testing and altar-ing your consciousness. An altar to your essential nature. This listing includes the sample, handout, and a business card.
The name "To Bee" is a reference to who the perfume was made in reverence to as well as the Shakespeare quote from Hamlet "To be of not to be, that is the question?" After all, if we continue to destroy our natural environment true botanical perfume will no longer be possible, the honey bee will become extinct and life as we know it will cease to exist.

Both top and bottom of these pink tubs are polypropylene which does not contain BPA they are # 5 on the recycling chart.
