I have never seen a bus stop light like this before, and I don't know if I will again. Wonderful old piece, I kept coming back to it and knew it would be very unique item for someone's home decor. It dates from the 1940s and was once part of a bus, so there are some scratches, paint loss, and wear, but considering the age I think it looks great and the scratching on the lights is minimal. This doesn't appear to have been sitting a bus grave yard, it looks like it was removed shortly after it was taken out of service. The top is marked 00-Ray-70 (unsure, a bit faded), Do Ray Lamp Co, Chicago USA (sure about the last two parts). I've seen the light for sale, but not a whole, complete, bus stop light like this. Very unique item that you don't and won't come across every day.
It is approx. 8 1/2" tall, width of stop light is approx 7 1/4." This is vintage metal and glass, so it's a very heavy item that will be packed with care. Insurance is included in the shipping price. Due to the weight it will be not mailed overseas.
