Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea-tray in the sky.
And really, who wouldn't want a cluster of brushed aluminum bats over their dining table?
The light measures about 14 inches in diameter by 9 inches tall (to the top of the topmost tray). As configured, the drop from the ceiling is 2 feet, but I can modify the length to your specifications. It is intended to be installed as a ceiling fixture (be sure to consult a qualified electrician), but for less permanent situations, it can be hung from a hook, as shown in the long photograph.
It will ship with the bulbs shown: 5 watt clear nightlight lights. The 13 of them add up to 65 watts, but as the light is reflected off the aluminum, the effect is more diffuse than a single bulb would be. It's quite romantic as is, but for an even softer look, you could use 4 to 7 watt frosted white. Or for parties you could swap in colored Christmas tree bulbs. LED bulbs are also available that would fit, for energy savings.
