silver-lined cloud (on blue)

each of my clouds are unique - just like the real thing. i stitch them freehand and then, once i've crossed all the x's, i give them a stitched lining of metallic silver embroidery floss. the lining is subtle but, just like the metaphor, when you see it, it makes all the difference.

this particular piece is a single white cloud stitched onto a background of pretty sky blue.
it is finished in a 4.25 inch wooden embroidery hoop; it's ready to be hung on the wall as-is.
