A fine collection of 6 wooden alphabets 'W' of different fonts and sizes.
These antique wooden letters were used for printing in letterpress. The letters measure approx. 67 mm (2.63 inches) for the highest and 41 mm (1.61 inches) for the widest and the smallest measures approx. 25 mm (0.98 inch) in height. The blocks have been cleaned to remove dust and dirt while making great effort to still retain their ink stains / patina. The composition has blocks taken from different lots which we get from various sources, therefore these are with varying degree of usage. These may be from unused / rarely used to regular used and likewise have varying levels of wear & tear, ink staining & patina. All this adds appeal to this vintage beauties. When lined together, these 6 blocks measure approx. 169 mm or 6.6 inches.
The blocks are not joined together. These have been placed in different fashion just to give an idea for display. The square matrix is to give you an idea of size of the blocks. Each square measures 1 inch x 1 inch. However if you still want dimensions of each block before placing your order, then please convo.
