hand built porcelain bowl ... balloon bowl

this piece is a porcelain bowl that is formed over a balloon with a very thin slab of clay. the piece is fired and then diped in copper sulfate to create the green overtones, the inside is completely glazed. the piece is light and sturdy. the bowl is about 4.5 inches tall and roughly 5.5 inches wide, which makes it great for salads, dips, ice cream, plants, popcorn, cactus pot ..... a wonderful catch all for great stuff, or nothing at all
