small silverplated loving cup. simply engraved "r. birch 1957". gloriously tarnished. unsigned for manufacturer.

who was r. birch? what did he do in 1957 to deserve this loving cup? orphaned memorabilia like this always makes me wonder about the owner.

perfect for a loving cup collection or for a vignette with old books and china (see picture #5).
