I'm quite fickle when it comes to fashion - especially in my designs. I focus primarily on one-of-a-kind items because my interest wanes when I am required to do the same thing over and over again. This locket however is a work-in-progress...a way for you to express whatever comes to your mind or heart on any occasion.
Fitted with a sterling silver bezel and screw top, the locket can easily be opened to change the images on both the front and the back at any time. Currently the locket houses a dramatic image of a French soldier from World War I wearing a gas mask. The image was taken from a damaged history of WWI book. The reverse of the locket currently showcases a four leaf clover image taken from an antique postcard
But the choice of image is up to you...a loved one on one side and a tiny message on the other, a piece of origami paper topped with a colorful leaf or pressed flower...an image of an expected arrival's sonogram...there are so many ways to celebrate with this piece and all of those "executive" decisions I leave up to you
as stated previously, the locket is LARGE (1.75" in diameter)
a gorgeous Victorian era silver toned articulated watch fob chain with decorative arrow-like engraving (identical on each side) supports the locket and measures 3" in length
total drop of fob chain and locket measures 6.5"
vintage silver toned star links lead from the watch fob chain to a chunky vintage silver toned oval link chain
total necklace length is 23"
an adventure awaits...
