Wearing a part of history is a sentimental thought for me. Most of my jewelry, as this one piece, is a one of a kind and made of vintage hay bailing wire found in a pasture on my family ranch. My father, as a boy, and my grandfather would feed cattle and drop the hay bailing wire throughout the ranch. Watching it age throughout my life has now become a part of my heritage….and it bring me joy to share it.
This bailing wire has been hand-turned and upcycled into to a rustic, bold…yet elegant ring. The back of the ring has been looped 5 times giving it a very strong look! However, the front has small curled loops giving a feminine look. I love this ring!
All of the vintage wire that I use has been scrubbed, and cleaned,…and cleaned more. The all the rust has been removed and all that remains is a beautiful, natural patina created only by weather and time.
This ring is a size 7, however, I can handcraft this style in any whole or half ring size (slightly different shape and size curves but the same style, since each are originals).
This ring will be securely wrapped prior to shipping. It will be shipped USPS the next business day after ordering.
