the poem reads:
by the window quietly,
the faint fragrance
of flowers, peraps
reminded him
of the funeral
but smoking in hospitals-
the temptation ran restless.
clinging thought
of death
had meddled.
he remembered all too well.
the edges are left raw as the page was torn out of the book. the poem is mounted on canvas wrapped board textured with white acrylic paint. it can be framed or displayed as is.
