The copper is then sealed in lacquer and rubbed with preservation wax for added durability and will not leave any residue or green from the base copper! The finish will last a lifetime~
This finish does not like a long dunk in water...so not recommended to swim, shower or wash dishes (rings) in them...otherwise....it is great!
