This vintage specimen box from the Chicago Field Museum now houses "Castor", a sweet little witch in training. She stands next to two antique watch vials filled with orange and black glitter, and a stack of small dice. Her black cat accompanies her.
The box was handmade years ago, and hand labeled on the back. The sides of the box were cut from some sort of cardboard, and the type still remains. You just can't beat that vintage feel!
This piece would make a great Halloween decoration, or can be displayed year-round. Because the box is handmade, it is a little unstable when sitting up. It can be leaned on an easel, or hung from the hook I added to the back.
This piece measures approximately 3 12" by 5 1/4".
