These methods and techniques can be applied to all types of dolls-even flat faced (pancake dolls) can be painted using my process.
I've taught hundreds of dollmakers, (both in-person and online), now exclusively through my etsy shop, you too can learn my techniques for making unique doll faces.
What you’ll learn:
-Sew a profile face and achieve different head shapes with one pattern.
-Needle sculpt the features
-Cloth overlay to hide the seam line
-Painting the face with acrylics and enhancing with pencils, pastels and pigma ink
-Putting items to good use such as trims, ribbons, beads, crystals, etc.
Most importantly- just to have fun and enjoy yourself in the process.
