The wartime brooch is skillfully hand wrought from sterling silver, and depicts the traditional “South of the Border” siesta theme with snoozing figure, cactus, and smiling donkey -- exhibiting finely chased detailing and repousse accent.
It measures 2&5/8 inches wide by 1&1/2 inches high, has a c-catch or clasp, weighs a solid 11.6 grams, and is stamped “Mexico” and “Silver”.
