Primitive garden rake, repurposed as a unique rustic wall shelf for display, with the handle shaft becoming an instant vase for holding dried flowers. A unique piece for displaying Christmas cards, photos, a small bottle collection and even holding earrings and hanging necklaces. Wonderful in the bathroom with a shell collection and a perfect spot for bath tissue. Or of course you could always add a new wooden handle and go whack some weeds!
This is a vintage find from our farm in Southeastern Ontario and is rich in rusty patina.
A great shabby chic piece for your home décor or hang it by the front door with a welcoming arrangement of dried flowers.
It measures 18 1/2 inches (47cm) long and 5 inches (13cm) wide, with a 4 inch (10cm) long handle shaft.
We added a salvaged piece of copper wire through the handle holes, so you can hang it from a single nail. And if you like the tool simply for what it is, the wire is easily removable.
