To make the "Cascade Bleue" jean skirt, I took a vintage Contempo Casuals jean skirt from the 80's and added a cascading ruffle of teal blue 100% silk all along the edge and continuing around the hemline.
The ruffles are asymmetrical and funky, giving this gorgeous jean skirt a romantic and feminine--yet edgy and funky--"bohémienne" look.
For a final finishing touch, I created a fat, funky rose out of the silk remnants. The final look is très chic, et très bohémienne!
The waist measures 28", the hips are 40", and the length is 42".
