This is a near mint condition CURSIVE font 1958 Hermes 3000 gorgeous and sleek typewriter. It comes with original case, original manual, and original two cleaning brushes. It's very rare to have all of these kept together with the typewriter, and a SCRIPT font typewriter to boot!
This machine is in perfect working condition. The carriage glides as it should and all of keys type smoothly on a lovely new ribbon... and in cursive! There is something about the look of script font when typing that has such a romantic feel to it. This typewriter appears to have always been stored in its case. It has a soft muted color that isn't boastful or dramatic. Even the bell still works, and will ding joyfully at you when you've approached your set margin.
It has one tiny spot of missing paint, right above the top left key. You can see it in the first photo. Aside from that, this typewriter is in pristine shape for it's age! The case has what looks like a sun shadow from a piece of tape right above the lock.
Typing on this machine has the smoothest buttery feel I've ever experienced. It's such a pleasure to write with. It's no surprise that the Hermes 3000 models are generally regarded as the best manual portable typewriters ever made.
