The magnet is 3 1/8" tall and trimmed to the shape of the matryoshka (not a rectangle and it is not labeled with nationality).

This is a print of an original drawing by me, Amy Perrotti, that I print in-house with an inkjet printer on gloss white paper magnetic sheet. The magnetic sheet used is the type found in office supply stores to put through a desktop inkjet printer. The magnet is not thick, and is not intended to hold a lot, just intended as a decoration. The magnetic sheet packaging does not state the thickness.
Due to the paper on the magnet, the color may be lighter than my other prints.
Also, I do not recommend this as a toy because it is not waterproof and the ink may smudge or the paper may be damaged if handled a lot.
